A feature-length documentary film.
I was the Co-Director, Co-Producer, Co-Editor, and designed the visual collateral.
The film screened in over 60 international film festivals, won 8 awards, and was distributed by Indican Pictures. We received several presentation grants including a grant from the U.S. State Department to present the film to students at the Instituto Tecnológico de Saltillo in Saltillo, Mexico.
Here is a trailer for the film, and to be frank, I DO NOT LIKE THIS PREVIEW.
It was created by our distributor at the time and it embarrassed all of us. It frames the film more as the next episode of "A Current Affair" than about complex border issues. The voice over fella is just ridiculous, he mis-pronounces "San Felipe," and there are some statements that stretch the truth. BUT our trailer is lost to the ether, time has passed, and now I try to look at it with perverse humor more than profound embarrassment. Enjoy!

I painted our opening title card on to a piece of scrap tin.

This map was used for several cutaways in the film. I made a huge stencil of the map and spray painted it on to a rusty steel slab.

Variations on a theme–collateral I designed for the film. Our festival poster, our DVD package, a stencil that I used to paint on phone poles, and our promo postcard.
